(When two surveys have been done in a country in a year, this is shown as 2X). NATIONWIDE Multistage random samples of adults age 18 years and over. Normally 1,000 respondents, in Russia 2,000. In the Baltic states , there are two samples, one for Baltic nationality and one for Russian ethnics. Sampling error: 2.5% LANGUAGES: The language of the state, except in the three Baltic states , Belarus , Ukraine and Moldova , where interviewing is in Russian as well. INTERVIEWS: Face-to-face interviews by trained, experienced interviewers working for established national research institutes directly co-operating with the CSPP. |
